These terms apply to all DJ bookings, performance contracts, private events, club appearances, festivals, corporate events, and similar engagements involving TEKNOWERKZ.

4.1 Booking Requests & Confirmation

• Submitting a booking inquiry through the Website or by email does not guarantee a confirmed date.
• Bookings are confirmed only after written agreement (such as email confirmation or a signed contract) and, when required, receipt of a deposit.
• TEKNOWERKZ reserves the right to decline any booking request at our discretion.

4.2 Pricing, Deposits & Payments

• Quotes are provided as estimates based on event type, location, duration, equipment needs, and other factors.
• A non-refundable deposit (often between 25–50%) may be required to secure your date.
• Dates are not considered reserved until the required deposit has been received.
• Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due before the performance begins.
• Late payments may result in additional fees or cancellation of the booking.

4.3 Cancellations & Refunds

Client Cancellations:

• Deposits are generally non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
• Cancellations made within a defined time frame prior to the event (for example, 14 days) may result in the full fee being due, as outlined in the specific agreement.

Performer Cancellations:

• If TEKNOWERKZ must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other circumstances beyond our control, any payments received will be refunded.
• When possible, reasonable efforts may be made to help locate a replacement performer, but we do not guarantee a substitute.
• We are not responsible for additional costs, incidental expenses, or consequential damages arising from such cancellations.

4.4 Event Requirements: Power, Space & Safety

The client and/or venue is responsible for providing a safe and suitable environment for the performance, including:

• Adequate and stable electrical power for all sound and lighting equipment
• Sufficient space for DJ setup, equipment, and safe cable routing
• Protection from weather for outdoor events (including rain, wind, and excessive heat)
• Reasonable security and crowd management, where applicable

TEKNOWERKZ reserves the right to pause or terminate a performance if conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to:

• Violence, harassment, or threatening behavior
• Hazardous electrical issues or water near equipment
• Unstable stages, platforms, or structures
• Severe weather or environmental risks

In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed and will depend on the specific circumstances and any written agreement.

4.5 Equipment Damage

The client may be held financially responsible for damage to equipment owned by TEKNOWERKZ that results from:

• Guest or staff negligence or misconduct
• Spilled drinks, liquids, or food on equipment
• Unauthorized handling of equipment by anyone other than authorized personnel
• Failure to provide a safe, stable, and protected performance area

4.6 Performance Time & Overtime

• Setup and breakdown times will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
• Performance length (e.g., number of hours) will be clearly stated in the booking agreement.
• Requests to extend the performance beyond the agreed time may incur overtime charges, subject to availability and venue rules.

5. Third-Party Services & Links

The Website may include embedded content or links to third-party platforms such as YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, ticketing services, payment processors, or social media sites. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

TEKNOWERKZ is not responsible for:
